Board of Directors meetings are held monthly, typically the fourth Thursday. All meetings are open to current, registered graduate students. Contact the GSA (board@brockgsa.ca) to receive the virtual meeting link if you plan to attend a monthly Board of Directors meeting.
Graduate students who wish to bring a matter to the Board’s attention are asked to contact the Chair of the Board (chair@brockgsa.ca) or the Executive Director (execdirector@brockgsa.ca) seven (7) days in advance of the meeting, so their issue may be considered for the agenda.

Directors of our Board govern for the organization. They are selected to represent their specific faculty and are jointly responsible for governing the organization, as well as serving as liaisons between the GSA Executive and the graduate students at large.
Sitting on our Board of Directors and various committees, Directors represent the GSA within their faculty and represent students at large by using their vote in the GSA. This is an opportunity to bring issues or concerns from their faculty to the attention of the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and the larger graduate community.
The Board of Directors meet monthly to address student issues and support graduate students during their time at Brock. Applications for the Board typically open in the Winter term for the upcoming year (May-April), but if there are vacancies, the Board may have further recruitment periods throughout the year.
