Grad Senate Nominee
Hello everyone! My name is Daniel Krowchuk and I am running to be re-elected as one of your two graduate student representatives on Brock Senate. This role involves preparing for meetings where decisions are made that affect your student experience at Brock. During my undergraduate
at Brock I was an undergraduate student representative on senate and was actively engaged in general senate meetings as well as the Student Appeals Board, the Teaching and Learning Policy Committee, and the Undergraduate Program committee. In Senate I have supported many motions to give students more control of their academic trajectory especially in the beginning of the pandemic when students academics were extremely disrupted I pushed very hard for students to be given alternative grade options of Credit During Disruption, and Withdrawal During Disruption, for when students felt the effects of the pandemic very heavily on their academics. I was also a major supporter of the push for the temporary medical self-declaration form. I have been a strong voice for students in the past, through contesting ideas and motions that would be unbeneficial for students and through supporting work that will make student experience better. I hope that you will support me as I run to represent you at the Brock Senate. Feel free to reach out to me by email if you have any questions or comments (dk18fk@brocku.ca)
